Market Christmas

On Sunday 12th December 2021, the annual Market Christmas fun day took place in St Malachy’s Youth Centre. Families had the opportunity to see Santa Claus in his grotto and head out the back to enjoy various

activities.

There were amusement rides, ride along animals and even a visit from Santa’s reindeers and animals who brought some snow all the way from the North Pole! A really enjoyable day for all and Santa can’t wait to return to the best community in Belfast for Christmas 2022!

On Wednesday 15th December, over 70 residents attended the annual Christmas Dinner for the senior citizens of our community. Due to COVID-19 and restrictions the dinner was held in Stock restaurant in St Georges Market instead of the usual night in the community centre.

They enjoyed a beautiful turkey dinner and refreshments and it was amazing to see so many of our residents back in one place, socialising and enjoying each others company. A brilliant end to the year, filled with the great Market Christmas Spirit! We look forward to hopefully welcoming you all back to the Community Centre next year!
