Road Safety Update

Residents recently reported to the MDA that the yellow and white lines in Catherine Street and Russell place had faded away. This caused an increase of commuter parking as there was no visible barrier to enforce this parking. The MDA contacted the Department for Infrastructure and the next day the Department were out speaking with residents and repainting the lines. They have given assurances that the DfI Parking Enforcement Team will be out monitoring cars illegally parked by commuters. In the past year, yellow lines have been added to Friendly Street, Stewart Street and Catherine Street.

If there are any faded lines or any other issue, please contact the MDA and we will liaise with the statutory agent to solve the problem.
